Before you build custom zones, work out the size of each zone, so they fill the screen exactly. Think of an 800 × 800 square: four 500 × 500 squares don’t fit in it. Watch the video, then follow the steps in Zones.

Work out the zone sizes
- Draw your screen to scale on (grid) paper: for 1920 × 1080, a box of 192 × 108 mm, so 1 mm is 10 pixels
- Draw your zones and measure them, for example a 40 × 90 mm side zone is
400:900 - Check that the zones together fill the whole box
- Create a playlist per zone with that size, as in Zones
FAQ
Should I use aspect ratio or resolution?
Resolution is usually easier, but it’s up to you: both give the same shape.
