About
Analytics gives you proof of play: reports of which files played on your screens, how often and for how long. Use them to show advertisers their ads ran, or to check what your screens played. Download them as PDF or CSV, or fetch them with the API. Part of the Ultimate plan.
Get Started
Turn on Analytics for a screen
- Go to Screens and find the screen (type its name in Filter)
- Click Settings (the gear icon)
- Turn on Analytics and click Save
Analytics is off for every screen until you turn it on.
Turn on Analytics for every new screen
- Click your username, then Profile
- Open Default Values and scroll to Screen Defaults
- Turn on Enable Analytics for newly linked screens and click Save
Make a report
- Click your username, then Analytics
- Choose the report type (see Options), and the period, files or screens
- To report only part of the day, turn on Only report records from a specific time of day and set the times
- Download the report as PDF or CSV
Options
Every report comes as PDF or CSV.

What is recorded
What is recorded?
Showings of images, videos and the Website plugin. Other plugins, like weather or text, aren’t recorded.
How long is the data kept?
- Detailed asset and screen reports: 3 months
- Asset reports by asset or by screen, and screen reports by asset: 6 months
What if the player goes offline?
The player keeps the records until it’s back online, up to 10,000 of them. With a new image every 10 seconds, that’s about 27 hours.
I'm in a different time zone. Are the reports right?
Yes. Times are shown in your browser’s time zone, as long as the time and time zone are right on both your computer and your players.

Why can't I turn on Analytics?
Analytics is part of the Ultimate plan, and it doesn’t work on trial screens.
Can I report only part of the day?
Yes. Turn on Only report records from a specific time of day and set the from and to times.
Can I get the reports through the API?
Yes. Request reports with an API key, for example from a script every day. See the API documentation.
