Google Maps
Google Maps is a web-based mapping service developed by Google. It provides detailed geographical information, route planning for travel by foot, car, bike, or public transport, and real-time traffic conditions. Businesses and users often embed Google Maps to display locations, offer directions, or share interactive map content.
Using Google Maps in your content you can display maps over cities, countries, or even a specific address.
- Go to Google Maps
- Find your location or address
- Open the burger menu
- Click Share or Embed Map
- Click Embed a map
- Click Medium (Size)
- Click Custom Size
- Enter the resolution of your TV (HD is 1920x1080, but you should check)
- Click Copy HTML
- Go to https://my.playsignage.com/playlist
- Open your playlist
- Click Website
- Click HTML Code
- Click Add HTML
- Insert the code you copied and click Save
- Toggle on Refresh periodically
- Set the refresh interval to 300 seconds (To refresh Google Maps every 5 minutes.)
