Clock

The Clock plugin adds a beautiful, live analog clock to your digital signage screens. It’s perfect for helping customers, employees, or visitors stay on time — whether in retail stores, offices, lobbies, schools, or public spaces.

How it works in simple steps:

1. Add the plugin to your playlist. Open any playlist (or create a new one) in your PlaySignage account. Select the slide where you want the clock to appear, then click Plugins and choose Clock.
2. Choose your clock style and settings
   • Pick your preferred time zone (defaults to the player’s local time zone).
   • Decide whether to show the second hand and hour numbers.
   • Customize the look: change background color, border color, hand color, numbers color, hand length, and font style for the numbers.
   • Enable a gradient border for a more stylish appearance.
3. Position and size the clock. Use alignment options (left/center/right, top/center/bottom) or manually adjust the exact position and size in pixels. You can make the background transparent so the clock blends naturally with your other content.
4. Publish and display. Click Publish. The clock will instantly start showing the accurate, real-time time on your screens and update smoothly every second.

• Time zone – by default the plugin will display time in its local time zone configured by the operating system. If you want to display time in another region, you can change it. You’ll find region names on this page.
• Layer - Move the clock up and down in your layers
• Second hand – hides or shows seconds.
• Hour numbers – hides or shows hour numbers on the face.
• Background color – change the face background color.
• Border color – change the color of the border.
• Hand color – change sets the hand color.
• Numbers color – change the color of numbers on the face.
• Hand length – change the length of the hands, this can be useful when changing the font of clock numbers, some fonts can take up more space than others.
• Numbers font – change the font of numbers on the clock face.
• Gradient border – toggles border for a gradient style.
• Positioning – Manually adjust the placement of your shape pixel by pixel
• Sizing – Manually adjust the size of your shape pixel by pixel

Displaying incorrect time?

Often the reason that your player is not showing the correct time is due to time zone being incorrectly configured. Please go over the operating system time zone and region settings and make sure that it’s been set up correctly.
