Get Started
Everything here starts in the editor: go to Playlists, open your playlist and choose the slide. When you’re done, click Publish.
Add Quote of the Day to a slide
- Click Plugins, search for Quote of the Day and click its tile
- Click it on the slide, and choose the categories and whether to show the author
Show your own favorite quotes
- Add a slide with a Text element and your quote, on a nice background image

FAQ
Is it safe for work?
No. The quotes are like those on Wikiquote and haven’t been edited or checked. Don’t use it in public spaces or where content must be safe for work.
Where do the quotes come from?
Royalty-free content, much like Wikiquote, a free collection of sourced quotations.
Can I add my own quotes?
Not to the plugin, but put your favorites on a slide with a text element.
What if my player has no internet?
The plugin loads a set of quotes the first time. Without internet then, it doesn’t show. After that, it picks from what it saved, so the connection doesn’t matter.
