Add sound to your screens: music for a whole playlist to set the mood, or a track for a single slide to match its message. Upbeat tunes in a store, calm ambience in a lobby, or a special soundtrack for a promotion. Use your own files, or a live radio station.
Get Started
Music for a whole playlist
Upload your music
- Go to Library and click Upload Assets
- Choose your audio files
Many files at once can take a few minutes to be ready.
Add music to a playlist
- Go to Playlists and click Add Background Music on the playlist
- Click Play under Available Tracks to listen
- Drag tracks into Tracks in Playlist, and click Save
Change the order of the tracks
- Click Add Background Music
- Drag the tracks up or down in Tracks in Playlist, and click Save
Remove music from a playlist
- Click Add Background Music
- Click Remove next to the tracks, and click Save
Pause the music on one slide
- In the editor, click the slide’s pencil, then Advanced
- Tick Pause Playlist background music for this slide

Music for one slide
Add music to a slide
- Open the playlist and the slide, click Plugins and choose Background Music
- Click + next to the track, and publish
The track name shows on the slide in the editor but not on your screens. You can move it off the slide.
Change the volume
- Click the track on the slide
- Set the volume in the settings, and publish
Remove music from a slide
- Click the track on the slide, or in Layers, and click Remove or press Backspace
- Publish

FAQ
Which audio files can I use?
.mp3 is best. .wav, .ogg, .m4a and .flac work too and are converted to .mp3.
Can I play a radio station instead?
Yes. See Live Streaming Radio.
Can I pause the sound on slides with a video?
Yes. Open the slide’s settings (the pencil), click Advanced and tick Pause Playlist background music for this slide.
