LED signs are the biggest and most amazing signs we find around the world. Cities like New York, Las Vegas, Tokyo, and many more go for huge investments in large-area screens.

LED signs, billboards, walls, and totems are normally built using LED panels. LED Panels are generally what we use when we build large-area screens. They are durable, bright, and serviceable. LED panels come in many configurations, but in this support article, we're taking a closer look at how you can get them up and running with our software.
In this section, we'll take you through adding an LED screen step by step. Before you begin this process, you'll need access to the media player connected to the LED screen, and you'll need the pixel:pixel resolution (For example, 800:600)
If you haven't already, create an account at my.playsignage.com and log in.
Before you start publishing anything to your LED screen, you'll need a playlist and a group.
Go to Playlists, click + Create Playlist, enter a name for the playlist, scroll down, and expand Advanced. In Enter Screen aspect ratio or resolution in pixels you enter your LED screens' true pixel:pixel, for example, 800:600, and click Create and edit.
Now you have a playlist that will match your LED screen, and all you gotta do is add your content.
When that's done, go to Groups & Schedules. Click + Create new group, enter a name, choose the playlist you just created, and then click Create.
Log on to the media player connected to your LED sign (In most cases, this can be done using TeamViewer or other remote desktop software).
Open a browser and go here: Download for Windows, or here if you're using something other than Windows: Download Overview.
Download the APP to your media player and open it.
You should be seeing a 6-digit code and a QR.
Go back to your personal computer, open a browser, and go here: my.playsignage.com. Log in and at the screens page, click + Add Screen.
Enter the 6-digit code, enter a name, choose a group (If you haven't created one yet, just pick any group), enter a location, toggle on Production, and click Add Screen.
The app still doesn't know the size of your LED screen, so let's fix that.
At the screens page, click the gear icon (Settings) next to your new screen, scroll to the bottom, expand Screen Edges, and toggle OFF Use entire screen area.
Now input your width and height (In pixels) in Adjust Bounds.
You can leave Adjust Offset at 0, but when you're up and running, you may wanna adjust this depending on how the LED screen area looks in real life.
Click Save
You're almost done!
Go back to Groups & Schedules, and drag your new screen to the group you created in step 1. Then click Publish.
Finally, there are a couple of things to note.
Toggle on Launch player on startup - So that our app starts up if the operating system reboots.
Toggle off Show top menu bar - So that if someone hits the mouse, it's not going to show the options bar on your LED screen. You can always force the options bar to show by pressing CTRL O or Command O (Mac)
Not in any way, you can create a playlist as big as you'd want it, but keep in mind if you have a large area with high resolution (For example, 12000 x 9000 pixels), you need to make sure your media player can handle it.
We don't like recommending specific brands or models, but for LED screens, there are things you need to watch out for. Since most LED screens are placed outside, sometimes in cold states and sometimes in hot states, we recommend you find a media player that is purpose-built, meaning it's immune to moisture, dust, and cold and hot temperatures. Our best experiences with LED screen projects have been built on Windows OS media players.
Most people think designing content for digital signage is super difficult, but if you can use Powerpoint, you can also create and design your own content in our editor.
