Icons
Enhance your digital signage designs with a wide variety of professional icons. Easily add, resize, recolor, rotate, and customize icons to perfectly match your brand and message.
The Icons feature in Play Digital Signage gives you access to a large library of clean, professional icons that you can add to any slide. Icons are perfect for highlighting information, adding social media symbols, warnings, arrows, or any visual element that improves clarity and design.
- Open a slide in the editor.
- Click the Shapes button in the toolbar and choose Icons.
- Browse or search the icon library and click the one you want to add.
- Once placed on the slide, you can fully customize it:
- Change color using the color picker
- Adjust size and position (pixel-perfect)
- Rotate the icon
- Add shadow and shadow color
- Change opacity
- Set alignment (maximize, left, center, right, top, middle)
- Move layers up or down
- Lock the icon to prevent accidental changes
All icons are vector-based, so they stay sharp at any size. They work great for corporate designs, wayfinding, menus, or any content where clear visual symbols are needed.
When you click Icons, you’ll find a list of many different icons that you can add to your content.
- Alignment – Maximize, left, center, right, top, middle, and lock
- Color – Pick a color for your icon or use the color picker
- Layer – Move your icon up or down layers
- Rotate – Rotate your icon
- Positioning – Manually adjust the placement of your icon pixel by pixel
- Sizing – Manually adjust the size of your icon pixel by pixel
- Opacity – Change the opacity of your icon
- Shadow – Add shadow and shadow color to your shape
How do I match the color of my icon?
In the settings, you’ll find a color picker next to where you usually pick a solid color. Click the color picker, then the color you want. (Note that this only works within the canvas.)
Can I lock the position of an icon?
You can lock any object you have in your content. Locking an object ensures that the object stays where it’s supposed to be, and can not be resized or removed. Read more about Locking Objects.
