The Icons feature in Play Digital Signage gives you access to a large library of clean, professional icons that you can add to any slide. Icons are perfect for highlighting information, adding social media symbols, warnings, arrows, or any visual element that improves clarity and design.
Get Started
All icons are vector-based, so they stay sharp at any size. They work great for corporate designs, wayfinding, menus, or any content where clear visual symbols are needed.
Add an icon
- Go to Playlists
- Open your playlist and find your slide
- Click Shapes
- Click Icons
- Find the one you like and click it
Once you have added an icon, you can move it around, scale it, rotate it and much more.
Remove an icon
- Go to Playlists
- Open your playlist and find your slide
- Click the icon
- Click Remove or press Backspace on your keyboard
Change the color of an icon
- Go to Playlists
- Open your playlist and find your slide
- Click the icon on the canvas
- In the settings, open the dropdown to choose a color, or click the color picker to pick a color from the canvas

When you click Icons, you’ll find a list of many different icons you can add to your content.
Alignment
Maximize, left, center, right, top, middle, and lock
Color
Pick a color for your icon or use the color picker
Layer
Move your icon up or down the layers
Rotate
Rotate your icon
Positioning
Manually adjust the placement of your icon pixel by pixel
Sizing
Manually adjust the size of your icon pixel by pixel
Opacity
Change the opacity of your icon
Shadow
Add a shadow and choose its color
FAQ
How do I match the color of my icon?
In the settings, you’ll find a color picker next to where you usually pick a solid color. Click the color picker, then click the color you want (this only works within the canvas).
Can I lock the position of an icon?
Yes. You can lock any object in your content. A locked object stays where it is and can’t be resized or removed. Read more about locking objects.
