Frequently asked questions

Find answers to common questions about our platform. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our team.

How do schools and universities use digital signage?

For schedules, news, events, wayfinding, emergency alerts and celebrating students, on screens in hallways, cafeterias, libraries and lobbies.

Can the screens show emergency alerts?

Yes. The Emergency System (Pro) switches screens to emergency content when it is activated, and Play supports the CAP emergency protocol.

Can each department manage its own screens?

Yes. Use teams and sub-teams (Pro and up) with user roles. Each department publishes its own content, while a central team keeps the overview of every screen.

Is there a discount for schools?

Non-profit organizations with a government-issued non-profit certificate get 20% off. For larger campuses, ask us for a personal quote.

Are there ready-made templates for schools?

Yes. The template gallery has an education category with slides you edit in the built-in editor and fill with your own news and events.

Is Play easy to learn for teachers and staff?

Yes. The editor works in the browser, much like PowerPoint, and ready-made templates give everyone a head start. Touch screens can show maps and directories that students use themselves.
