Everything here starts in the editor: go to Playlists, open your playlist and choose the slide. When you’re done, click Publish.
Add a Media RSS feed to a slide
- Get the feed link from your content provider
- Click RSS, then MediaRSS, and paste the link
- Set the transition and how often it refreshes
Change the design in the provider’s app, and your screens follow.
Find a content provider
Buy a feed from a provider, then paste its link. See this list of providers. For example:
- News, sports and weather: Datacall, ScreenFeed, DigiChief
- Infotainment (trivia, clips, quotes, on this day): ScreenFeed, Seenspire (through the Website plugin)
- Stocks: ScreenFeed, DigiChief
- Traffic: ScreenFeed, DigiChief
- Social media: ScreenFeed, Seenspire

FAQ
Why doesn't my feed load?
Media RSS isn’t the same as RSS (what Media RSS is). When you paste the link, we check it:
- Not found: nothing came back from the link
- No RSS found on page, is this RSS feed?: there’s no RSS or Media RSS there
- Returned feed did not contain channel items or media…: it’s a regular RSS feed; use RSS Reader
What is the difference between RSS and Media RSS?
Both are XML and can hold images. News sites and blogs publish RSS; paid content for digital signage is mostly Media RSS. In RSS, an image is optional, can sit in one of 6 places, and is usually a small thumbnail next to the text. In Media RSS, each item holds its media in one place (<media:content>), the media is the main content, and the feed says how long each item shows.
