Detailed Weather puts a richer weather card on your digital signage: city name, current temperature, today’s label, a large weather icon, high and low temperatures, condition text, and a four-day forecast row with icons.
Use it when lobbies, campuses, retail floors, or offices need more than a single temperature reading. Pick a location, choose Celsius or Fahrenheit, set language and styling, and select a weather data provider. You can move and resize the card on the canvas, align it, change layers, and optionally ungroup it if you need to edit individual parts.
This plugin ships with upcoming player updates. For a simpler weather asset, see our classic Weather plugin. You can also pull weather via Media RSS or a Website embed when you need a third-party widget.
Add Detailed Weather from Plugins, then tune location, units, look, and provider from the right-hand settings panel.
Add Detailed Weather to a slide
- Open a playlist
- Click New Slide if you want a clean slide
- Click Plugins
- Search for
Weather - Click Detailed Weather to add it to the selected slide
- Click the detailed weather on the canvas to select it and open its settings on the right
Remove Detailed Weather
- Open the playlist where you want to remove Detailed Weather
- Click the detailed weather on the canvas to select it
- Click Remove or use backspace on your keyboard
Change the city used in Detailed Weather
- Open the playlist, and find the slide with Detailed Weather
- Click the detailed weather on the canvas to select it
- In City, input the name of the city you'd like
- Pick the new city in the dropdown
- Click Publish
Change the design for Detailed Weather
- Open the playlist, and find the slide with Detailed Weather
- Click the detailed weather on the canvas to select it
- Open Style and pick the one you like
- Click Publish
