Version 2.4 is rolling out now. Your players update by themselves, so all you need to do is sit back.
A rebuilt Twitter plugin
Update: the Twitter plugin was discontinued in 2023, after changes to Twitter’s API pricing.
The Twitter plugin was our first social media plugin, back in 2017, and it lacked the options of the later Facebook and Instagram plugins. So we rebuilt it with the same customisation: fonts, alignment, update interval, zoom and more.
A second weather data provider
We’ve happily used weatherbit.io for our weather data. To be on the safe side, we’ve added weatherapi.com as a second provider. The Weather plugin works the same, but its data is now even more dependable.
Analytics as CSV
Analytics reports can now be downloaded as CSV as well as PDF, so you can open them in a spreadsheet or load them into your own systems.
Your own default values
Set default values for new slides and screens on your profile page, such as slide duration and transition, and save clicks every time you create content.
What you don’t see
Many changes in a release are invisible, but they matter:
- The player runs natively on Apple’s M1 chips.
- An icon on the playlist overview shows which groups and schedules use a playlist.
- Resize objects without breaking their aspect ratio.
