When a screen needs attention, the first questions are often: which device is it, and what is it running? This update answers them for two popular platforms.
BrightSign: serial number, MAC and IP address
For BrightSign players, Play now shows:
- the serial number
- the MAC address
- the local IP address
That makes it easier to keep track of your hardware, find a device on your network, and solve problems remotely, together with your IT team.
Samsung Tizen: app version
On Samsung Tizen displays, you can now see which version of the app the display is running, so you know at a glance whether it’s up to date.
