This update helps your players run smoothly, and makes several plugins look and read better.
Limit a playlist to full-HD
4K files look sharp, but they can overload players that aren’t built for 4K and make playback stutter. You can now restrict the assets in a playlist to full-HD. Your 4K originals stay in the library, but players get files they can handle. Read more about optimising your content.
Plugins in your language
The RSS Reader, Weather, Facebook Post and Digital Clock plugins now use your language by default, so days, months and labels are right from the start.
Tickers with outline and shadow
The Ticker gets stroke and shadow options, so scrolling text stays readable on any background.
Quicker editing
When a slide has only one asset and it fills the screen, the editor selects it for you, so you can change it straight away.
What’s in this update
- Restrict the assets in a playlist to full-HD (to avoid overloading non-4K players with 4K files)
- Plugins (RSS Reader, Weather, Facebook Post, Digital Clock) default to the user’s language
- Stroke and shadow options for the Ticker
- If a slide has only one full-screen asset, the editor pre-selects it
