Built on Android SDK 34
The app is now built on Android SDK 34, the version that comes with Android 14. Apps built on a recent SDK work better with today’s Android and Google TV players, and get the platform’s latest security and performance improvements.
No more hanging during large downloads
On some players, the app’s interface could hang while it downloaded large files, such as long videos. The new version fixes that: the player stays responsive while new content downloads in the background.
