All the photos you find and use in your digital signage content from Unsplash are royalty-free, so you don’t have to worry about who owns the rights. If you are using photos from Google or generally from the internet you may find materials that are protected and therefore not for free use.
The original photos are very high resolution as they are captured by professional photographers whereas the most common digital signage setup is in full HD resolution, therefore we optimize images for that. If you’re using a 4K setup and absolutely must have 4K resolution images, you can download the photos in original resolution and upload them to the library.
They have to manage the demand, therefore 3rd party applications (like us) are throttled to 5000 search queries in an hour. If the limit is exceeded, the search will not work again until the next full hour starts. This does not affect images already added to the slide or published to players, only searching for new photos is affected.
